In case you have two SIMs and you are using one of your SIM and your JazzCash account is on the other SIM that you have stopped using, then this article will help you to transfer your JazzCash account to active number. This can be done in two ways and I will describe both ways in this article so stick around to the end.
Method 1: Call the JazzCash Helpline
To start with, you have to dial the JazzCash helpline. Your screen displays the helpline number. In case your JazzCash account is in Jazz network, call 4444. In case it is on any other network such as Ufone, Telenor or Zong, you should call 021-111-124-444.
Dial this number and say to the representative:
I carry two cell phone numbers. I want to transfer one of my numbers which already has a JazzCash account to my other number.”
Then you will have to provide both numbers to them. They will request confirmation information. Upon confirmation, they will shift your JazzCash account to your preferred number. I even tried this procedure and was able to transfer my account.
Method 2: Close the Old Account
In case the above procedure fails or you are interested in a clean start, you are allowed to deactivate your current JazzCash account and open one on your desired number.
Here’s how:
- The first is to ensure that the balance in your existing JazzCash account is zero.
- Then dial the helpline with the right number (displayed on the screen).
- Inform them that you need to close your existing JazzCash account permanently.
Once you provide them with all the necessary information your account will be closed permanently. After it is shut down you will be able to open a new JazzCash account on your favorite number. This procedure normally requires 24 hours.
So, you can do one of the following: → Either change your account to another number → Or close the old account and open a new one.
